Refund policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
Firstly, our free plan lets you use the full app and needs no card. If you do subscribe and it is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. If a renewal catches you by surprise, tell us within 14 days of the charge — statutory rights apply on their own terms, and for our additional goodwill window we ask that Sync has not been meaningfully used since renewal. Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, our payment partner, on behalf of More Creativity Limited, and Paddle issues all refunds.
Why there is no free trial
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
The free plan is the trial: the full app, on your own device, with no account and no card. It is the honest way to find out whether timemellow fits how you work before any money changes hands — which is also why the refund windows below are about payments, not access.
14 days on your first payment
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
If you subscribe and timemellow is not right for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. No justification or particular form is required — email support@timemellow.com, use the refund link in your Paddle receipt or billing page, or request it through paddle.net. This applies identically to monthly and annual plans.
Our guarantee lasts 14 days, matching the usual statutory withdrawal period for eligible UK and EU consumers. It applies as a contractual promise whether or not a statutory withdrawal right applies. Nothing on this page reduces any right the law gives you, wherever you are.
14 days on a renewal you did not mean
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
Renewals catch people out, annual ones especially. If a subscription renewed and you did not mean it to, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge. Where you have a statutory right to withdraw, that right applies on its own terms. Where our additional goodwill window applies, we will refund the renewal provided Sync was not meaningfully used after the renewal date.
Statutory renewal rights vary by country and subscription period — UK consumers, for example, get a new withdrawal period when an annual subscription renews. Where no statutory right applies, including ordinary monthly renewals, the goodwill window covers you anyway, offered because a forgotten renewal is an accident, not a decision. It exists for genuine oversights, and we may decline repeat goodwill requests from the same account.
Cancelling
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
You can cancel any time from the billing portal linked in the app — no email needed, no retention flow. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep Sync until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not ordinarily offer pro-rata refunds merely because you cancel partway through a paid period. The windows above, your statutory rights, and any refund due because we end the service or because you cancel after a material change to our terms are unaffected.
Fair use
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
We handle refund requests generously and by hand, and we would rather refund a borderline case than argue about it. The one thing this policy is not for is cycling — subscribing, using Sync, refunding, and repeating. Requests that form that pattern may be declined, and Paddle's own refund policy independently refuses refunds where there is evidence of refund abuse. Neither of those affects anyone asking in good faith, and this fair-use limit applies only to the additional refunds this policy provides — it does not limit any statutory right.
Your data, after a refund or cancellation
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
Money and data are separate. Whatever happens with billing: the app keeps working in free, local mode; your complete data stays exportable as JSON on every plan, always; and your synced copy is not deleted when a subscription ends — it stays until you delete it or ask us to, exactly as the privacy policy describes.
How refunds are paid
Applies to The app — app.timemellow.com
Paddle is the Merchant of Record — the legal seller — so refunds are issued by Paddle, returned to your original payment method where possible, and processed within 14 days of approval; your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show it. Your card statement shows Paddle's descriptor alongside More Creativity Limited. You can also request a refund directly through Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net; Paddle will assess it under its own refund policy and any additional rights this page provides.
